What will you do?
At CtrlChain, we are looking for a Scrum Master who will facilitate and support the scrum teams in applying the scrum framework. You'll help the team achieve their goals, by removing impediments and ensuring a smooth workflow. You'll guide and facilitate the scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint plannings, reviews and retrospectives.
We work with cross-functional teams which include business analysts, UI/UX experts, front- and backend developers and QA. As a Scrum Master, you'll foster a collaborative environment between all team members by facilitating internal communication and effective collaboration. You'll also protect the team from external interruptions and distractions, allowing them to focus on delivering value for the organization.
Besides the scrum team, you'll work closely with the Vice President of Product and business to ensure a clear understanding of product backlog items, priorities and planning. You'll also inform these stakeholders regularly on key metrics, such as team velocity and progress.
Requirements
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Guiding and coaching the scrum teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
- You will get scrum teams to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
- You will be responsible for ensuring Agile Scrum is understood and the scrum teams adhere to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
- Coaching the Scrum teams in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum teams.
- Working with Scrum Teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational projects or product teams.
- Supporting all scrum events: sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, sprint refinement and sprint retrospective.
Who are you?
- You have at least 3-5 years’ experience in scrum master / agile coach type roles.
- You have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- You have good knowledge of Agile frameworks.
- You have excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement, velocity).
- You have knowledge of Azure DevOps.
- You are organized and a good communicator.
- Scale-up experience would be valuable to have.
- You are fully proficient in the English language; other European languages are a plus.
- You have great attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- You are able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
