At one of the world's premier airports, as a junior DevOps engineer CDP you will be responsible for keeping our data lake functioning and adhering to the latest technological and organization standards. In this role, you will be a part of the bigger Core Data Platform team to provide the technical support and team leadership building a modern data platform. The Data Platform team is at the heart of the DnA department, delivering trusted certified data to Schiphol and beyond. At the Schiphol Group we trust in your talents, such as your ability to connect with others. In summary, as a junior DevOps engineer CDP you would love to:
Maintain our current platform and assure data streams to our data consumers seemingly. Help design, implement, and test cloud based (Azure) data intensive applications. Collaborate with Lead Engineers, Data Architects & Enterprise Architects for technical solutions. On a daily basis, help team members whenever you can. You've got thisIn this role you create change and encourage others to embrace change. Also, you take control and responsibility over choices. Other than that you have:
A completed BSc or MSc in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics etc.). Around two years of professional development and/ or data experience. A real cool project during your studies can substitute part this requirement. Knowledge of distributed data environments. Experience with Confluent Kafka is a plus. Knowledge of a current coding language (preferably Scala, Java or Python). Experience with Microsoft Azure or another cloud provider. Comfort in working with the latest DevOps technologies. Fluency in English. Knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus. You get this € 4.400 tot € 6.127 gross per month (scale 11). 8,33% bonus at the end of the year. a working from home allowance of €3.00 net per day. A NS-Business Card - all travel to and from work by public transport is paid for. The possibility of leasing a bicycle (also electric bike).These are just a few of all the employment conditions that come with this position (based on a 36-hour working week).
