Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As part of the Team, you will have the following responsibilities:
The post holder will be assigned to the Programme and Project Control Service under the direct responsibility of a Business Control and Administration Manager (BCAM); Specific responsibility for controlling and reporting all aspects, resolve issues implement corrective actions of a busy Division covering: Technology; Laboratories; TEC Activities; Manpower planning; Travel budget planning; To take responsibility on reporting progress and end of year budget landing point predictions on a selected Program at Department Level. To take responsibility on reporting progress and end of year budget landing point predictions on a selected Program at Department Level; Contribute to a continuous process improvement, regular interfacing with line management, stake holders, dedicated Service Providers, following up specific actions and performing analysis.
Skills & Experience
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
Master´s degree in Engineering or equivalent, or MBA or equivalent University degree from a recognized Institution of secondary studies, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration is mandatory; Previous experience/knowledge of the Agency activities would be a distinctive advantage; Ability to readily assimilate and coordinate input data and providing timely output; Reliability, rigor and initiative in the execution of the assigned tasks; Excellent analytical, organization and reporting skills together with a proactive attitude to solving problems and proficiency with IT tools; Previous experience working with SAP and relevant Agency’s corporate applications and/or ESA IT Tools would be an asset; Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.This job is located in Noordwijk, the Netherlands .
