Aerospace Programme Controller Role Overview

Serco Europe is a leading provider of public services, and we are seeking an experienced Aerospace Programme Controller to join our team in the Netherlands.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up of projects and programmes, focusing on schedule, procurement actions, costs, manpower, and related activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in preparing, developing, and maintaining programme level plans.
  • Maintaining related work/procurement plans and executing contract actions using local tools as applicable.
  • Monitoring programme implementation and preparing related reports and management information.

In addition, the Programme Controller will assist in resource planning, including financial and manpower resources for programme/project(s), as well as procurements and execution of contracts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Master's degree in engineering or equivalent, or an MBA from a recognized institution with relevant experience.
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience in controlling and/or managing activities and resources in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience with finance/accounting knowledge may be required for some tasks.
  • Proficiency in modern activities and resource management support tools/databases, including Excel (Ms-Office) and SAP (ECC and SRM modules).
  • Ability to rapidly understand and adapt to ESA specific context and environment.
