We are seeking an Assistant Project Controller to work on our customer site (ESA-ESTEC) in the Netherlands. This is a fantastic opportunity to get into one of the most sought-after space agencies in the world. 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in project control activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and performance tracking.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of project reports and financial statements.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying risks and ensuring project timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with project managers to implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Support internal audits and project evaluations by preparing relevant documentation.
  • Assist in the development of project management tools and processes to improve efficiency.

Profile:
  • University degree (Bachelor) in Business Administration (or Communications as relevant), with relevant experience.
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in financial planning and controlling and/or management of activities and resources in the aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management processes and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with project teams and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Experience with ESA in relevant activities is an asset.
  • Familiarity with the ESA working environment in a similar position is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are needed, together with a high degree of organizational and communication abilities, and comfortable working in a diverse and multinational team environment.
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
