Functie

Als Area Sales Manager is het jouw opdracht om de diverse industriële applicaties van SPGPrints verder in de markt te zetten. Je behartigt de bestaande klantrelaties en genereert nieuwe business leads. Je bekijkt welke markten groeipotentieel hebben en welke toepassingen van SPGPrints ingezet kunnen worden om deze markten te bedienen én verder uit te breiden. Het portfolio dat je hierbij behartigt is breed en varieert van toepassingen, met name in het segment van luxe wijn-labels, printed electronics, bio-sensoren, flexibele solar panels en het bedrukken van bankbiljetten. Jouw relaties (eindklanten maar ook agenten en distributeurs) zijn voor een belangrijk deel in Europa maar ook wereldwijd gevestigd. Als ambassadeur van SPGPrints ben je niet alleen in staat de wensen en behoeften van klanten te vertalen naar commerciële kansen, maar ook daadwerkelijk omzet en marge te genereren. Intern werk je nauw samen met jouw directe collega’s in het sales team, de afdelingen Product Management en Research & Development. Je rapporteert aan de Commercial Director.

Jouw taken en verantwoordelijkheden bestaan onder andere uit:

Onderhouden en uitbouwen van wereldwijde relaties met (potentiële) klanten in jouw productportfolio; Introduceren, promoten en verkopen van de producten uit het portfolio; Bezoeken en onderhouden van contacten met (potentiële) klanten; Adviseren van de klant op technisch gebied en het volgen van relevante marktontwikkelingen en hierop anticiperen; Technische problemen van de klant, in nauwe afstemming met collega’s van andere disciplines, vertalen naar commerciële oplossingen; Het opstellen van een salesplan en het realiseren van de doelstellingen op het gebied van omzet, marge en groei; Bezoeken van Tech beurzen en het aansturen van de diverse agenten en distributeurs van SPGPrints wereldwijd.

Jouw profiel

Technische of commerciële hbo-opleidingsachtergrond; Door technisch inzicht of affiniteit in staat de wensen en behoeften van klanten te kunnen vertalen naar commerciële kansen; Affiniteit met productie en industriële toepassingen; Uitgebreide verkoopervaring in de maakindustrie in een internationale omgeving; Combineert relatiebeheer met acquisitie; Kennis van verkoop-, marketing- en onderhandelingstechnieken; Proactieve houding, serieus maar niet formeel, initiatiefrijk, daadkrachtig en resultaatgericht; Overtuigende communicator, die goed kan communiceren met mensen in het bedrijf die verschillend zijn op het gebied van talen, achtergrond, cultuur en senioriteit; Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, Duits is een sterke pre; Bereidheid om regelmatig en veelvuldig internationaal te reizen, met name binnen Europa en soms ook daarbuiten.
