General Purpose

As a Manager Lifecycle Communications at adidas you are responsible for the overall communication during our consumer lifecycle for Europe This role works across adidas and the newly released Confirmed app and ensures the ownership of lifecycle and behavioural (trigger) programs through emails and app push notifications. In this role, the successful candidate will ensure that our programs enhance our consumers’ CLTV through well thought through personalisation and good timing. They will ensure that they are delivered in the most awesome way possible, that is in line with adidas and Confirmed brand standards while meeting our sale KPIs when relevant. Our lifecycle programs are built and maintained in high collaboration with the global team and they will need help with rolling out and optimising the programs. In this role, the successful candidate will also manage a team of 2 assistant managers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the global team on building and maintaining the lifecycle and behavioural programs for adidas and the Confirmed app in the European markets, on both email and app push notifications.
  • Bring in tactics outside of the scheduled programs to drive CRM KPIs
  • Work on reactivation and anti-churn tactics and support their implementation
  • Collaborate with content and marketing teams to improve the emails and push notifications’ KPIs
  • Collaborate with Membership and Acquisition counterparts to optimise the programs based on the business needs
  • Support the Campaign Communications team with the relevant improvements
  • Provide analytics and insights to be used both for day-to-day or/and for optimisation and revamp
  • Be accountable for the performance of lifecycle and behavioural programs in Europe
  • Contribute to standard best practices and control methods.
  • Support and drive two direct reports

Requirements

Education & Experience

 

  • 4+ years of experience in CRM, Email Marketing or Membership-related environments
  • Knowledge in consumer lifecycle strategies
  • Experience with people management
  • Experience in managing highly complex processes, involving multiple teams in different geographies
  • Good communication & negotiation skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
  • Project management and project monitoring experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of HTML for emails
  • Knowledge of process optimization methodologies (LEAN, 6Sigma, etc…) is a plus
  • Fluent English both verbally and written
