Job Description

The HR Communications Manager is a dynamic role within the Global Employee Communications team focusing on delivering high-quality internal HR-related communication to both global employee audiences and HR audiences. The role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and effective HR communication to effectively drive the execution of the Philips People Strategy. This role reports to the HR Communications Business Partner and is a key member of the HR Communications team.

You are responsible for:

  • Managing integrated communications and engagements for our annual HR cycle (goal setting, feedback, performance review, annual compensation).
  • Managing integrated communications and engagements for strategic HR projects, HR initiatives, systems, and solutions.
  • Managing the HR function-for-function engagement communication (webcasts, newsletter, etc.).
  • Maintaining and supporting the quality of HR-related content. 
  • Using metrics to identify areas of opportunity and drive improvements.
  • Collaboration with key HR stakeholders, HR Activation Manager, Global HR Content Manager, HR Leadership Team, and various HR Centers of Excellence as well as members of the Global Employee Communications Team.

Deliverables are:

  • Creating and actively driving the annual HR communications calendar.
  • Creating communication content in support of the People Strategy to global and HR audiences utilizing Philips channels. 
  • Creating and actively driving HR engagement initiatives (newsletters, mass emails, leadership positioning, intranet articles, HR webcasts)
  • Managing internal communications channels for the HR function (Viva Engage live sessions, intranet, mass mail, newscast)
  • Communication measurements to ensure continuous improvement.

Education and experience

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related studies.
  • 3-7 years of experience within HR and or communications.
  • Experience working in a multinational organization preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
  • Near-native English oral and written communication skills.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence and work effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within global teams located around the world.
