As the Consumer Insights Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Consumer Insights (CI) function. You will lead a dynamic team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality insights that meet client needs and drive business growth. Your leadership will contribute directly to revenue generation and the expansion of our capabilities in key global markets. You will also play an essential part in enhancing Innova’s reputation as a trusted partner for consumer insights, fostering strong client relationships, and driving the successful delivery of strategic consumer research projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth: Drive the development of Innova’s consumer insights capabilities and methodologies, positioning the company as a leading commercial partner. You will oversee consumer insights projects, ensuring they meet key business goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Engage with key clients to foster long-term relationships and ensure alignment on strategic insights. You will play an instrumental role in converting opportunities into sold projects, meeting commercial sales targets, and supporting business development efforts.
- Consumer Insights Methodology Development: Lead the development of proprietary methodologies that connect market and consumer insights. Drive the launch of a global awareness campaign for Innova’s consumer insights capabilities to raise brand visibility and attract new clients.
- Team Leadership & Development: Oversee the planning and development of the Consumer Insights team, ensuring optimal performance and the achievement of team goals. Manage team roles, ensuring the development of specific skill sets across the team and distributing workloads efficiently to drive project success.
- Global Research & Training: Lead the expansion of consumer insights capabilities in key markets. Provide training to global teams to enhance their understanding of CI methodologies, ensuring effective implementation and consistent growth across regions.
- Operational Excellence: Develop and implement standardized processes for all custom research projects, including questionnaire design, data structure, and reporting workflows. Optimize resource usage to increase efficiency and ensure high-quality output.
- Platform & Brand Strategy: Position consumer studies to contribute to both direct revenue and enhanced brand marketing. Ensure the creation and promotion of impactful presentations that showcase Innova’s consumer insights capabilities to clients worldwide.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor the performance of consumer insights offerings, fine-tuning strategies to meet evolving market demands. Track KPIs, ensuring the successful execution of projects, cost-efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (consumer studies, marketing, food-related studies, or similar).
- At least 8-10 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or a similar strategic role, with a strong focus on leadership and commercial outcomes.
- Extensive experience managing teams, client relationships, and consumer insights projects in the food & beverage or FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing large-scale projects.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex insights to senior stakeholders in a compelling way.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt insights to meet business needs.
Skills Required
- Expertise in strategic consumer insights methodology development and application.
- Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and the food & beverage industry.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and training global teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee large, multi-market research projects.
- Knowledge of statistical tools (Excel, Pivot Tables, SPSS, XLSTAT), survey programming (Qualtrics), and data visualization.
- Commercially focused with the ability to drive revenue and ensure profitable consumer insights projects.
