We are currently looking for a Global Digital Product Manager - Field Sales & Support to join us at our office in Amsterdam. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

The role

The Digital Product Manager (DPM) Field Sales & Support is a manager to lead the nearshored product team in identifying opportunities and developing digital solutions. You are an expert in customer relations management, Lead management and support solutions in a global B2B context. Main goal of your domain is to make our internal sales organisation more impactful for our customers. You connect with customers to understand their needs and translate them - in collaboration with your product team - into new product features / discoveries to validate and deliver.

You will be part of the Global Digital team, responsible for Digital solutions to inspire, empower and engage building professionals to build easier and better. We are a young and energetic team that is driving digitization of the customer experience, marketing tools and ordering processes globally. Our B2B platform grew in only 2 years after launch to 30+ countries and our field sales solution is used by ~2000 users. Nevertheless, we are still at the start of our ambitions. This is a global role, with opportunities to learn and grow as a professional and requires strong collaboration with colleagues around the globe.

You will report to the Global Director Digital Products and there will also be considerable interaction with our IT Development teams, the business excellence team and regional business support organizations, which gives you the opportunity to work with a high diversity of people, on difference organization levels and in different cultures. Currently, the Digital Products team consists of 5 Product Managers. Your role will be focused on the Product domain responsible for the tools our account managers and back-office colleagues use to manage the sales pipeline and support to customers on a daily basis.

First challenges to tackle

There is much to gain in this domain and we’re lacking clarity on direction and goals at the moment. So a lot of opportunity for you to (re-)position this domain in a way that brings most value. Examples of important topics to work on:

Build empathy with your users / customers of the current solution. Define a clear strategy and ambition in collaboration with your Tech Lead and Subject matter expert. Build strong value cases to secure funding for executing on your strategy. Make sure to understand the B2B sales business and industry context you’re operating in. Organize and lead strong execution, from discovery to adoption.

Your responsibilities:

Define a product vision (short- and long-term) and convert it to concrete strategy in co-creationg with your cross-functional team Drive a value-based way of working, create business cases to secure funding and continuesly measure results Partner with your cross-functional team to build roadmaps that will be reflected in the company's broader portfolio planning and align on feature development and prioritization. Use data to track impact and improve digital products. Conduct user research and usability studies, collaborating with designers, developers, and research teams throughout the process. Participate in market research, validation, and white space analysis to identify opportunities for new or existing features and functionalities.


Our requirements:

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in (Technical) Business Administration, Finance, Computer science or related field or equivalent work experience. Experienced and passionate about customer relations management and support systems Customer-first mindset, strong understanding of back-end and/or front-end programming languages Ability to use data that can be used to track, analyze, and improve our digital products. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills for working with a team. A results-driven self-starter with a strong desire to connect and collaborate with colleagues worldwide. A growth mindset committed to continuous improvement, proactiveness and curiosity. Intellectual strength in planning, strategy, analysis and problem-solving.
