A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Manager will be part of the service organization looking after industrial turbines and generators at our customer base in The Netherlands. In collaboration with the Dutch team as well as the Global Centers of Competences, the candidate will be responsible for leading projects from bid to finalization. With the understanding of customer’s needs, the Project Manager will generate customized proposals for services and coordinate the execution to a successful completion.
How you will make an impact
You lead the quotation and execution process for projects and respective toolsIn the quotation phase:
Build good understanding of customer’s needs and support customer in defining the project scope Collaborate with and support respective factories Handle of offerings for local content, if and when vital Generate quotations, including commercial (price, budget) and technical aspects Support Sales Management in securing orders Ensure CRM records (opportunities) are up-to-date Support technical issuesIn the execution phase:
Responsible for completing the projects within the committed timeline and budget, and keeping the organization advised through progress reports Maintain good customer and partner relations to ensure the smooth implementation of the assigned service contracts and projects Identify and coordinate the appropriate resources needed for the project implementation, including subcontractors, temporary and permanent SE staff (local and overseas) including specialists Communicate with and support respective Global Engineering and Manufacturing locations Identify and secure new business opportunities with the assigned contracts, for instance modernizations or upgrades.
What you bring
3-5 years project management experience Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or combined Business and Engineering Knowledge/experience in rotating equipment is an asset Very good command of English both written & spoken, Dutch is preferred and German and/or French will be a nice to have skill. Broad commercial and contractual understanding to optimally interact with customers, management / colleagues and external collaborators Analytical thinking, decision making, result oriented and good presentation skills. Flexibility, creativity and open-minded view

Our Distributed team in Steam Turbines & Generators provides customized service solutions to our Oil & Gas, Industrial and Power Generation customers. In our Dutch service team we are looking for a Project Manager who will actively manage a designated projects creating profitable project and driving customer satisfaction.
