Wie zijn wij?

APM Terminals Maasvlakte II is sinds april 2015 operationeel en heeft een duidelijk doel voor ogen: een veilige en vlekkeloze verbinding vormen tussen land en zee. Een verbinding waarlangs ieder jaar miljoenen containers hun weg vinden. Dit doel bereiken wij met de inzet van alle kennis, kunde, talent en ervaring van onze medewerkers en door gebruik te maken van de meeste geavanceerde technologie. Zo worden de tien kranen langs de diepzeekade (die 20 meter diep en 1.000 meter lang is) remote bestuurd. Ons elektrisch aangedreven equipment en voertuigen worden vanuit de controlroom automatisch aangestuurd. Kortom, APM Terminals Maasvlakte II, is een van de meest geavanceerde terminals ter wereld. De komende jaren gaan we zelfs onze terminal qua omvang en capaciteit verdubbelen en daarvoor hebben wij jou nodig.

Over de functie:

Als Technical Specialist Mechanical bedenk je oplossingsrichtingen voor complexe storingen en draag je haalbare voorstellen aan ter optimalisatie van het equipment (kosten en performance)

Je ondersteunt Technicians en equipment managers bij de uitvoering van nieuwe bouwprojecten, maintenance en optimalisatie

Je rapporteert aan de Equipment Manager.

Tot de kerntaken behoren onder andere:

Verzorgen van storingsanalyses en aandragen van voorstellen ter optimalisatie van equipment;

Uitwerken van de proces (flow)schema’s in equipmenttekeningen, besturingsprincipes, regelstrategieen en interfaces;

Bewaken van de projectvoortgang, kosten, toezien op een kwalitatief juiste uitvoering en rapporteren hierover.

Optreden als 1e aanspreekpunt voor technische vragen t.b.v. de interne organisatie;

Bedenken van oplossingsrichtingen voor complexe storingen en problemen en adviseren of ondersteunen bij het oplossingsproces;

Waarborgen van de veiligheid van de werkprocessen in de praktijk;

Adviseren over toepassing van technische ontwikkelingen;

Opstellen van technische specificaties voor inkoopopdrachten;

Wat zoeken wij?

HBO opleiding richting Mechatronica of HBO werk- en denkniveau, op eerder verworven

competenties (EVC);

Minimaal 3 tot 6 jaar relevant werkervaring en kennis van haven equipment;

Het is een pre indien je kennis hebt van HSSE standaarden en richtlijnen;

Je bent zelfstandig, resultaatgericht, innovatief en je kunt prioritieten stellen en risico’s juist inschatten;

Uitstekende beheersing van het Nederlands en een goede beheersing van de Engelse taal.
