Mercury Yacht Construction is gespecialiseerd in het op maat bouwen van complete casco’s voor superjachten. Deze casco’s vormen de basis voor Oceanco’s geavanceerde jachten. Onze activiteiten bestaan uit de engineering en productie van staalconstructies. Tevens bieden wij de mogelijkheid om de inbouw van de technische uitrusting te faciliteren.

Voor onze constructiefaciliteit Mercury Yacht Construction BV zijn wij op zoek naar een Lead Engineer.

Wat wordt jouw uitdaging?

In deze rol heb je de volgende taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

Het afstemmen en reviewen van het constructief ontwerp met productie, projectteam en de constructief ontwerper. Het inhoudelijk aansturen van de engineers binnen jouw team tijdens opzetten van het constructiemodel in de pre- en basic engineering fase en het bepalen van de juiste prioriteiten. Het afstemmen met het Oceanco projectteam en de constructief ontwerper van praktische ontwerp en engineeringsvraagstukken. Het afstemmen met het Oceanco projectteam en de leveranciers van groot equipment (huiddeuren, etc.) over demarcatie en integratie in de constructie. Het in iedere fase reviewen van de door MYC en uitbestedingspartners geproduceerde engineeringsinformatie. Het inhoudelijk ondersteunen van de engineers binnen het eigen team. Je draagt bij aan verbetervoorstellen, standaarden, werkmethoden, processen en procedures.

Wat vragen wij?

MBO+ of HBO diploma (maritieme techniek of werktuigbouwkunde) Relevante ervaring met scheeps- en/of superjacht constructie. Je herkent jezelf in de volgende competenties: leiderschap, resultaatgerichtheid, kwaliteitsgerichtheid, organisatiebetrokkenheid en flexibiliteit. Je bent in staat om engineeringsvraagstukken helder te communiceren. Je bent proactief en beschikt over voldoende probleemoplossend vermogen. Je bent een trotse en gepassioneerde professional die leergierig is. Je hebt ervaring met het werken in CadMatic Hull, AutoCad en Rhino 3D.
