What you will enjoy doing

  • You will improve the asset performance and reliability of Ijmuiden as well as the onsite business profitability
  • Furthermore, visible leadership to create a safe and compliant culture (internal and external) where people are empowered and accountable, implement high level safety standards especially in process safety is a part of your role
  • You will be responsible to improve P&L by optimizing existing contracts together with account management, driving profitable growth, cost leadership and operational excellence
  • Moreover, you should reduce risks (power recovery, liabilities etc.) by proactive identifying issues and implementing mitigations plans
  • As the key interfaces are BLX tonnage & Bulk operations incl the platform and ROC, COC, COE, Botlek, you work closely with the Linde Group major onsite customers GTS and Tata and with the BLX functional resources such as finance and control, SHEQ, legal, HR, procurement

What makes you great

  • You have 10+ years’ of experience in Bulk Operations or Onsite sales, commercial development, business management in a related industry and experience in Operations, Engineering and Applications
  • You have a University degree (preferably technical and commercial), an advanced degree is a plus (MBA or technical), but not required
  • You have experience in Multi-million euro deal making / negotiations in a multi-cultural environment and significant commercial experience in large scale industrial processes
  • You have strong Leadership skills and have experience in working within a matrix style, cross-functional, team-based environment
  • You understand Linde safety standards and be able to implement and manage this throughout the functional area. You have robust analytical skills combined with creative problem-solving skills. Includes understanding the customers next best alternative and the competitive situation
  • The ability to face new challenges and actively contribute to the success of the company's digital transformation project
  • You are able to collect, interpret and use data effectively, driving digital transformation
