As a Customer Service Representative at Genie, based in Oud Gastel, The Netherlands, you'll play a crucial role in our the day-to-day operations of our busy, multilingual and international Customer Service Department within the mechanical equipment industry. Your main responsibilities will include sustaining strong customer and sales relationships, managing a complex order management process, and effectively communicating with various stakeholders to deliver excellent customer service. What you’ll do
Receive and process customer purchase orders in our ERP system (Oracle), ensuring accuracy with configuration, terms and pricing. Case management and checking on backlog in our CRM system (Salesforce). Create quotes for lead times, pricing, freight. Respond to customer and internal sales requirements in efficient, prompt and professional manner. Maintain and develop customer relationships in partnership with the Sales team. Regional and international shipping (export). Work with Sales team to understand future business requirements. Interact closely with other departments (i.e. Operations, Finance, Logistics and Service) and maintain effective internal communication.What you’ll bring – in order of importance
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Customer Service and Export experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP and CRM systems. Clear and fluent English communication skills (verbal and written). An additional language as French, German or Italian is a plus. Strong detail focus. Effective time management, organization, and multitasking abilities. Adaptability to change and a proven track record in a high-pressure environment.Why Join Us
