We are seeking a Global HR & Employee Experience Intern to support our global HR policy management efforts at Stolt-Nielsen. Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist storage and transportation provider for bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum, gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals. We also focus on opportunities in aquaculture & LNG.

What will you be doing

As our intern based at our Rotterdam headquarters (HQ), you will support the Executive Assistant & Employee Experience Specialist. Your primary focus will be creating a policy structure that ensures consistency, legal compliance, and an enhanced employee experience. Clear policies contribute to a positive workplace and guiding decision-making processes 

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with regional HR stakeholders to review and update global policies. Ensure local policies align with global standards and are easily understandable.  Conduct research to stay up to date with legal guidelines. Regularly update the HR portal, our employee experience platform to provide accurate and consistent information related to various people initiatives.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Work and Organizational Psychology, Communication, Legal or related fields.  Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and having knowledge of SharePoint. Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve project goals with a hands-on mentality and having a strong attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Extra

Internship duration: 6 months. You will have the opportunity to work 3 days per week from our Rotterdam headquarters (HQ) in the historic Veerhaven area.
