Functieomschrijving

You will act as the first point of contact for theoperational teams (both warehouse and transport) in case of systemissues. You diagnose the situation both administratively and (ifrequired) physically and determine the necessary actions to beinitiated. In that case you communicate and work with colleaguesfrom various disciplines within theorganization.

KEYACTIVITIES

The system support role is part of theEngineering Team within Innovation, Projects and Stock ControlGroup of SDS Netherlands.

The team is a mix of ITspecialists, logistics engineers and system support functions. Keyactivities of the System Support Role are:

FirstLine System Support:

-Manage operational systemissues for multiple sites.

-Diagnose andprioritize issues.

-Determine necessaryactions.

-Communicate with relevant individualswithin other departments in theorganization.

-Escalate issues ifrequired.

-Acquire and maintain thoroughunderstanding of (changing) transport and warehouseprocesses.

-Monitor follow upactions.

ContinuousImprovement:

-Proof system issues in the testsystem and suggest structural solutions in cooperation withLogistics Engineering andOperations.

-Participate in customerimplementation and/or process changes incl. testing and go-livesupport.

-Identify process deviations andtranslate deviations into solutions and improvementproposals.


Functie-eisen

Forthis role we are looking for an ambitious candidate with stronganalytical and communication skills. He/she is flexible andaccurate with a strong hands-on mentality that likes to works inteams.

We are looking for a personwith:

-Warehouse operations and/or coordinationskills

- 1 - 3 years working experience in awarehousing role

-Willing to work in shiftrotation (currently between 06:00 and23:00)

-Eager to learn

-Aproficient level of English

-Experience with MSOffice, mainly Excel

-Relevant experience TMS andWMS systems

-Travelling between warehouses may berequired (Tilburg/Breda)

Both Warehouses areeasily accessible from 's Hertogenbosch, Oosterhout, Etten-Leur,Tilburg, Breda
