Facilities Assistant in the Swire Institute of Marine Science (SWIMS) (Ref.: 524186) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have completed Form 5 or above, with relevant experience in general electrical and water systems repair and maintenance. They should have a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English; good interpersonal skills; a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; as well as the ability to work independently and in a team. Preference will be given to those who possess a Certificate of Registration as Grade A Electrical Worker and a valid driving license.
The appointee will be responsible for the day-to-day repair and maintenance of the Academic and Residential Blocks, and may need to respond to accidents or emergency calls in the event of a system breakdown outside office hours. He/She will work 5 days a week.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.

應徵者須具備中五或以上程度，具相關水電維修工作經驗，能操粵語及略懂英語，有團隊合作精神、主動、負責任、能獨立工作及具備良好溝通技巧。應徵者如持有電工A牌者及駕駛執照將獲優先考慮。
受聘者須負責研究所及宿舍的日常設施維修保養和執行上級指派的工作，以及支援辦公時間外的突發工作。受聘者每週工作五天。
入職薪酬將按受聘者之學歷及相關工作經驗釐定。僱員福利包括有薪假期及醫療福利。
