Job Description:

Global Petcare has decided to establish a “Direct Selling” Center of Excellence (CoE). The purpose of this CoE is to unlock direct selling for Mars with focus on Social Platforms, eB2B, Marketplaces & Drop Shipping and direct-to-consumer (D2C) stores.

Three key pillars on knowledge compose the Direct Selling Backbone: Finance, Supply Chain and Business Architecture. The CoE ambition is to make Direct Selling Simple across all MARS, solving pain points across these three areas and sharing best practices across the business, globally.

As part of “Direct Selling” CoE, the purpose of the Engagement Lead is to be the local connector with Businesses, driving the COE go-to-market, managing communication and documentation, research stakeholders, and coordinate timelines effectively

What are we looking for?

8+ years of experience in Project or Program Management​ Proven Business Acumen & organizational agility​ Proven experience in business development and documentation management.​ Strong research skills with the ability to identify and engage key stakeholders.​ Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.​ Excellent communication and presentation skills.​ Familiarity with omnichannel processes and market trends.​ Detail-Oriented: Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation.​ Strategic Thinker: Contribute insights for effective go-to-market planning.​ Relationship Builder: Establish and maintain strong connections with stakeholders.​ Results-Driven: Focus on achieving project and business development goals.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to the regional pipeline ​ Lead the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for COE Initiatives​ Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments for the region of competency​ Foster relations with local stakeholders and community, supporting the identification of new opportunities to support the business in direct selling ​ Align and review x-segment and x-regional opportunities with the other Engagement Leads, conjointly maintaining a Global project pipeline​ Prepare compelling presentations and communication materials for internal and external audiences​. Provide updates, risk assessment and mitigation plans to all COE Leads ensuring alignment on the state of art. ​ Coordinate with Business Architecture Lead to ensure alignment on single project timelines vs. overarching project pipeline ensuring proper allocation of resources and effort across the team. Collaborate with the pillar Leads in creating standardized ways of working and templates for project documentation, encompassing key elements such as project charters, plans, status reports, and other relevant documents. Collaborate with the broader leadership team to define and establish relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that comprehensively assess project success, team efficiency, and the tangible value created for the business, fostering a data-driven approach to continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
