YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Identify and contact power/renewable energy users, mainly in the Netherlands and Germany, and asses how they can benefit from our trading- and forecasting infrastructure;

Structure the terms and conditions in close cooperation with analytical teams and the portfolio manager;

Negotiate and conclude tailored contracts to achieve volume and margin targets within a lean and organization setting; 

Research and identify market opportunities and threats in a rapid changing environment;

Collaborate with a diverse team with complementing skill set( top mgt traders, EV business developers etc.) to share insights and further develop business opportunities;

Proactively prioritize competing business demands to be efficient and gain the highest return and value;

YOUR PROFILE

In order to fulfill the content of the job the ideal candidate has:

Fluency in both Dutch and English is a must. German is a plus;

Minimum 4 years of working experience in the European power sector;

Master degree: good academic record business and or Technical background;

Ability to oversee complexity (i.e. understanding effects of grid tariffs, flexibility, commodity prices, value of green certificates etc. to make appropriate business propositions);

Basic experience with origination/structured deals;

Commercial feeling, within an analytical mindset.

Superb analytical and communication skills; ability to asses risk/reward ratio of various business propositions';

Entrepreneurial personality, able to work independently and take the initiative;

Curiosity, interested to work with a wide range of counterparts;

Result oriented, commercial thinking - ability to translate contacts into contracts;

Team player, leadership skills - needed to build a team as well as getting buy-in from the organization about the model results;

Good project management and market intelligence skills.
