About the job
As our Trade Marketing Operations Manager you're overall responsible for managing end-to-end supplier funded marketing campaigns together with the operations team. In this job, you will be reporting into our Head of retail Media & Trade Marketing.
You will create the excellence in campaign processes and reportings of the campaigns in Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. This role involves ensuring seamless operations, driving performance to achieve business objectives and working with cross-functional teams. You are responsible for setting up operational processes for existing and new marketing products, developing and updating the Ratecard, and have a shared responsibility with Category Marketing on optimizing supplier campaigns on design, media performance and brand & sales kpi’s. You will be the connection to paid, owned and earned channels of MediaMarkt Benelux and you are able to spot opportunities & think creative for suppliers to co-invest.
Some examples of your key activities are:
Trade Marketing Operations Management : Understanding and tracking of the overall MMS business objectives and how to contribute to that. Develop comprehensive trade marketing strategies in alignment with business goals. Cross-functional collaboration & supplier offering : You will be the spider in the web for the paid, owned and earned channels to connect the suppliers with the MediaMarkt campaign or always-on media usages, or creating new projects to attract new fundings. This works also the other way around, eg. when suppliers have big NPD launches (Apple, Samsung, Xbox, Playstation new products) you seek the opportunity for MediaMarkt to get the most out of it. Data analysis and insights : Tracking the supplier funded investment amount per month & year with the defined split of online & offline budget. Ensure the inventory has been uploaded on Husky platform to enable the Category Marketing teams to sell the potential Marketing products. Monitor the tracking of the Media spend, and make sure the investments are on-track and well reported. Identify opportunities for optimization and provide actionable recommendations for supplier campaigns. This can be on the media mix, investment, design etc. to increase the ROAS. Process improvement and efficiency : Continuously assess and improve operational and campaign processes related to trade marketing. Identify and implement tools or systems that enhance workflow efficiency. Team leadership and development : Provide leadership and coaching to the team.
Who are you?
Next to being a dynamic, results-oriented and nice to work with person you have:
a Bachelor's or Master degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field at least 5 years of relevant experience in similar position a background in Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Retail Media, Brand Activation Manager is a plus knowledge of retail industry trends, consumer behavior, and digital marketing strategies familiarity with advertising platforms, data analytics tools, and marketing technologies is a plus.
