European Business Development Manager (f/m/d)

The European Business Development Manager will have a crucial role, strengthening the overall market presence and market share of the division within the European region. Their main goals are to detect opportunities and acquire new business, maintain and retain assigned accounts, achieving the Company’s strategic sales objectives. They will negotiate trade agreements with European Accounts and strive to be included in strategic tenders for the organization. Lead international projects.

What you can expect

You will conduct commercial prospecting across Europe by analysing market potential, identifying and developing strategies and opportunities. You will identify and grow new business opportunities, while building strong and lasting relationships with new customers. You will work closely with local, regional or global commercial resources to meet customer needs on 'Solution Selling'. You will ensure strong customer engagement and communication in order to maintain loyalty and keep stakeholders updated on performance and potential risks. You will provide regular review and analysis of commercial sales activities and associated targets.  Working with the European Sales team, you will execute the agreed strategy to drive revenue, gross margin and profitability.

What you bring

You have gained experience in sales across Europe within a large international logistics organisation, consistently achieving and surpassing targets and objectives.  You are results-driven, able to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders to identify and convert growth opportunities with both existing and new clients. You have high energy and are very committed to develop the business. You have strong knowledge of the transport market. An understanding of Warehousing and Logistics would be a plus. Finally, you are flexible and willing to take business trips when required.
