Thisis how you will reinvent foodretail.

  • Join a scrum teamand take ownership of specific product areas within oursuite.
  • Improve and develop new features with awide range of brands in mind.
  • Connect with theproduct, collaborate with the product owner and your team, andexplore innovative feature ideas.
  • Address thechallenges of developing a SaaS solution for multipleretailers.
  • Prioritize automated end-to-endtests and code quality.
  • Consider the broaderproduct suite beyond your specific area.
  • Drivedaily improvements and actively contributeideas.

In the ad-techcluster, we are developing and implementing a retail media SaaSsolution for all Ahold Delhaize brands in Europe. Retail mediainvolves selling advertisement space on our digital touchpoints orin-store.

 

Examplesinclude:

  • Promoting brands like TonyChocolonely when customers search for chocolate on our website orapp.
  • Displaying advertisements on big screensinside and outside stores.
  • Featuringsupplier-branded banners on homepage or categorypages.
  • Exploring new territories as retailmedia is a rapidly growingfield.

 

Ourad-tech cluster, part of the Customer Tech Platform, is responsiblefor a flexible, cost-efficient, high-end retail media suite withextensive functionality and a growing number of brand users. Wehave a scale-up vibe with 5 teams and counting. A mature agileapproach (no frameworks) helps you excel and showcase yourskills.

 

Together withyour team you will work on inspiring projects to accelerate ourtransition into a hybrid Food & Tech company. We want toleverage data and technology to future-proof food shopping and giveour customers the accessibility to healthy food more easilyavailable for everyone.   • Anannual salary up to 100K including holiday allowance and a flexiblebonus. Depending on your level of seniority andexperience;

Therecipe for maximum impac

  • 6+years of experience as a Backend Engineer inKotlin/Java.
  • Hands-on experience withKotlin/Java (11+), Microservices Architecture. A big plus if youalso have experience with Kafka, MongoDB, Postgres, andAPIs.
  • Experience in an agile softwaredevelopment environment.
  • Strong understandingof CI/CD practices in a (MS Azure/AKS) Cloudenvironment.
  • Commitment to the team and abilityto challenge the status quo.
  • Keen on testing,test automation, and observability.
  • Experiencewith retail media and/or SaaS products is a bigplus.
  • Fluent inEnglish.
  • Located in TheNetherlands.
  • Enjoy teamwork, greenfieldsettings, and making things happen.
  • Tech-savvy,proactive, and passionate abouttechnology.
