Thisis eCommerce Backoffice
The Albert Heijn eCommerce Backoffice cluster, led by Head ofTech Johan van Es and Stefan Tijsen, is a fast growing and hugelyimportant part of home delivery. With nine DevOps teams we areserving business and consumers with reliable databases, servicesand apps for all logistics processes ranging from replenishment toorder picking, forecasting, warehouse management and delivery. Theteam in which you will join is team Delivery. In this DevOps teamyou will work on the backend of the Delivery domain including routecalculations, scheduling and delivery capacity. You will beresponsible for multiple Kotlin microservices running in aKubernetes cluster. You will join a talented and experienced team,consists of DevOps engineers (Outsystems, Kotlin, Tester), aProduct Owner and a Scrum Master. Together with the team you willclosely collaborate to deliver enormous impact everyday

This ishow you will reinvent Food Retail as a Senior BackendEngineer:

  • Work with the team on reliablesolutions and also take responsibility for the teams' code in ourDevOps way of working (including availability for standbyshifts).
  • Analyse/design application and dataarchitecture solutions, build code, enforce code quality, developbest practices and manage deployments.
  • Developon applications that run our business critical and strategicalprocesses of delivery.
  • You will work hard oninnovative and challenging solutions with support of your team andProduct Owner, while weighing the effects on our architecture andmanaging dependencies like a boss. You also engage intensively withcolleagues in the whole AH Tech department. In short, this is afantastic and challenging role in which you work on great projectsand help us to deliver on our promise to our millions of shoppingcustomers. At AHTechnology you'll be working for one of the biggest food retailersin the Netherlands. To become successful as our new softwareEngineer, you bring:

• Bacheloror University degree in Computer Science, IT or a comparablesubject.

• At least 5 years workexperience as a Backend Developer, Java Developer, Kotlin Developeror Backend DevOps Engineeretc.
• Experience with Java 11 orhigher, Kotlin, Services (APIs) and CI/CD.

• Knowledge on Containerization(Kubernetes) and Cloud (Azure).

• A getting-things-donementality.

• An insatiableappetite for new knowledge and knowledge sharing.

• Good communication skills, fluent inEnglish or Dutch
