As a passionate backend engineer you willwork on loyalty propositions: AirMiles, Koopzegels (Purchasestamps) and targeted offers such as Bonus box. These propositionsare displayed through the My Albert Heijn lane of the Home Screenof the Albert Heijn apps. The team builds integrations in alandscape of distributed systems of external partners and AlbertHeijn brands such as Etos and Gall & Gall. Which makes this anexciting project to workon 

 

Thisis how you will reinvent foodretail 

As Senior BackendDeveloper at AH Technology, you contribute to the improvement andoptimization of the experience of millions of Albert Heijncustomers. Using the latest technology, you transform theever-changing insights in the world of online and offline shoppinginto code that works. In short, you use your programming skills todevelop, test and implement new functionalities, together with yourteam. You participate in standups and refinements, developcode, write tests and continuously integrate/deploy the solutions.Beyond your own team, you contribute to the AH Tech community viaGuilds, inner source initiatives, and more. We are looking for asolid backend developers that knows their way around distributedsystems and integrations.

At AHTechnology you'll be working for one of the biggest food retailersin the Netherlands. To be successful as our new backendengineer you bring:  

• ATechnology/IT Engineering bachelor or master's degree, orequivalent 3/5 years of work experience;  

•You know your technology stack: you are experienced in Kotlin andpreferably MongoDB, GraphQL, Spring boot and have experience withdistributed systems. 

• Experience in Cloud(Azure preferred, but we will get you up to speed if you haveAWS/Google experience);  

• Know your wayaround with CI/CD, including test automation integrations andrelease engineering automation (fyi, we use Azure Devops and GithubActions)  

• Experience with the DevOps wayof work. You build it, you run it  

•Outstanding communication in English.
