Purpose of Role

The Key Account Executive will work within an integrated and dedicated Digital POD team that will manage the European Pure Player Business. Working with assigned accounts to build an aligned brand strategy, maximize sales and profitability against defined targets and set objectives. To work within the best interest of our consumers, customers, teammates and the Under Amour brand.
 

Your Impact

•    Deliver the agreed annual sales and profit for Under Armour, in line with the regional and global strategy.
•    Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones. Ensure a cohesive sales platform to deliver sales KPI’s stated in the AP.
•    Ensure that the fully integrated go-to-market-process is understood and executed efficiently and innovatively across these accounts. 
•    Own and drive seasonal touchpoints with accounts (such as Prelines, Sell-Ins, etc.), and ensure high level of account management. 
•    Provide own insights and present/ implement channel sales strategy & defined key account sales strategy - in line with the evolving market trends and competitor insights - for the achievement of the targets in both customer segment and by product category. 
•    Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis. Identify & deliver consumer led opportunities to achieve growth, distribution, or product categories with existing accounts.
•    Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management. Ensure appropriate and effective retail presentation that helps delivering volume and value targets, assists in equity building and best consumer experience. Develop, propose, and monitor annual P&L allocated to the account.
•    Coordinate and involve company teammates, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
•    Be a team player establishing cross-functional partnership to establish clear differentiation strategies in product, communications, and investments for consumers across the landscape of our biggest pure player partners.
•    Be a vital part of the digital team, working very closely with the eCommerce, Marketing and B2B teams to establish areas of leverage to drive best in class and efficiencies.
•    Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.

Qualifications
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     •    Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
    •    Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years of relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of education and related experience
    •    5yrs+ experience in wholesale, ideally part of that within Sporting Goods or Digital Fashion Retail industry 
    •    Demonstrated track record of account management in a commercial environment.
    •    Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills with an analytical mind coupled with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations based on their analysis.
    •    PowerPoint presentation skills and the ability to deliver strong presentations to groups (1:1 and groups)
    •    Strong Interpersonal skills & demonstrable track record of good relationship building
    •    Ability to work cross-functionally with other areas of the business such as marketing, customer service & logistics.
    •    Fluent in English
     

Workplace Location
  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our  Amsterdam office.
  • Hybrid working : 2 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote. 
  • Travel: up to 5% of the year
