Position Overview:
A growing hotel group in the Schiphol area is looking for an HR Advisor - Talent and Culture Manager to support two properties with a combined 800+ rooms and 100+ staff. You will lead HR operations, manage sick leave, oversee recruitment strategies, and assist with key HR-related projects. This role works closely with a team of 35 colleagues across multiple F&B outlets and is part of the management team, reporting directly to the General Manager and Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* HR Operations: Address day-to-day HR queries, manage the birthday calendar, and handle operational questions.
* Sick Leave Management: Ensure effective management of employee absences.
* Recruitment & Strategic Planning: Drive recruitment processes and plan strategically for staffing needs.
* Payroll: Oversee basic payroll checks to ensure accuracy in coordination with the head office.
* Projects: Lead HR-related projects such as new uniform rollouts, staff parties, and other initiatives.
* Duty Shifts: Participate in monthly duty shifts alongside other management team members (9 AM - 3 PM).
Must-Have Qualifications:
* Experience in sick leave management.
* Knowledge of basic labor laws (contracts, leave policies, etc.).
* At least 1-2 years in HR within hospitality management or 3-4 years as an HR Advisor.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience working in hospitality HR.
* Ability to work independently and bring creativity to the role.
* Dutch B2 and English B2 proficiency.
* Cultural awareness and a collaborative mindset to work with a diverse team of over 30 nationalities.
