Role: Risk Manager
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Our client is seeking a Risk Manager to join their team. You will oversee their risk management processes, collaborating across departments to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework, implementing and refining policies and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments to enhance process efficiency and risk management.
- Work with Compliance, Legal, IT, and Operations to strengthen the risk culture.
- Support and challenge the business in reviewing and assessing risks and controls.
- Aid in internal and external audits, ensuring thorough preparation.
- Advise stakeholders on best practices for risk management and monitor improvement actions.
- Promote risk awareness and foster a proactive risk management culture.
Key Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Several years of experience in risk management, audit, or related roles.
- Interest in financial services and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Initiative and openness to learning new risk management techniques.
