Overview
Our client is one of the world's largest consultancy firms, now seeking to hire a highly skilled (Associate) Director to join its Corporate Finance department, focusing on Deals Advisory and M&A.
This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that drives significant value for clients through a comprehensive range of M&A activities.

This permanent position is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and also offers opportunities for hybrid working.About the role
- Lead and manage the execution of M&A transactions across the endtoend M&A value chain, including origination, deal structuring, negotiation, and closure;
- Maintain and expand client relationships, demonstrating a deep understanding of their industry and strategic priorities;
- Develop and implement M&A strategies for clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and market opportunities;
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide comprehensive advisory services to clients, including due diligence, financial modeling, HR and postmerger integration;
- Oversee a team of highly skilled professionals, fostering a culture of learning and development, and ensuring high performance and engagement;
- Contribute to and lead the department's growth by participating in business development activities and thought leadership.
About you
- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
- A minimum of 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in M&A and M&A strategy, with a proven track record of successful deal execution;
- Comprehensive knowledge of the endtoend M&A value chain, including understanding of due diligence, and experience in financial analysis, deal structuring, and negotiations;
- Great relationship builder with outstanding influencing and partnering skills. Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking abilities;
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing highperforming teams within an M&A context;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Dutch (mandatory) and English (written and spoken);
- A commitment to fostering diversity within the team and promoting an inclusive, innovative work environment.
