Head of Finance

Wij hebben een uitdagende positie voor een ervaren Financial met affiniteit voor Business Control. Als Head of Finance ga je een belangrijke bijdrage leveren aan de verdere professionalisering van de Finance afdeling en de verdere ontwikkeling van business controlling en de datastrategie. Je komt te werken in een leuk zelfredzaam team dat samen met jou de klus klaart.
**Functieomschrijving**
Als Head of Finance geef je leiding aan het Finance team dat bestaat uit de financiële administratie met drie collega's (AR / AP / Credit Control). Je stemt taken af, deelt kennis, werkt binnen het Finance team actief samen met de Transactiemanager en het datateam (bestaande uit zes personen) en je helpt elkaar als afdeling te verbeteren. Samen met je collega's ben je verantwoordelijk voor het rapporteren van de cijfers van de diverse entiteiten in de breedste zin van het woord, inclusief de financiële verantwoording aan het management, investeerders, accountants en klanten. Verder ben jij;
- actief betrokken bij diverse IT-projecten, overnames, potentiële participaties en je zorgt voor verdere professionalisering van de Financiële afdeling;
- kritisch ten aanzien van de huidige financiële organisatieprocessen en -structuren en stelt met jouw expertise (financiële) verbetertrajecten op. Hierin is de term Operational Excellence niet vreemd voor je;
- samen met het management verantwoordelijk voor het opstellen van forecast en budgetten;
- business partner voor diverse managers binnen de organisatie, waarbij de vertaalslag wordt gemaakt tussen cijfers en de business;
- adviseur m.b.t. strategische-, tactische
- en operationele besluiten op basis van financiële en operationele informatie, zoals omzet, marge en kosten;
- verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van analyses op het gebied van omzet, marges, kostenontwikkelingen, werkkapitaal en project control;
- rechterhand en sparring partner van de directie.

een proactieve, zelfstandige en ambitieuze collega. Naast je kennis en relevante ervaring op gebied van accounting, business controlling en / of business en data-analyse, ben je ook communicatief vaardig en weet je je visie en analyses helder over te brengen binnen MIG, intern en naar externe stakeholders. Je voelt je aangesproken door onze verwachtingen:
- Je bent in het bezit van een afgeronde Hbo
- of Master opleiding in een relevante richting, bijvoorbeeld Finance & Control, of Accountancy;
- Je hebt mínimaal zes tot acht jaar relevante ervaring als Financial of Business Controller en je bent klaar voor een meer senior rol;
- Je hebt veel ervaring met Excel en Power BI en het bouwen en verder ontwikkelen van data dashboards;
- Kennis van ERP-systemen is zeker een pré, net als werkervaring in een fintech
- of sterk IT-gedreven exploitatieomgeving;
- Je hebt de ambitie om jezelf en de business continue te verbeteren;
- Je beschikt over een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal zowel mondeling als schriftelijk;
