(Junior) Operational Manager


Als (Junior) Operational Manager krijg je gelijk veel verantwoordelijk. Zo geef je direct leiding aan een groep van ongeveer 15-20 operators en word je verantwoordelijk voor de output van deze teams. De teams die jij aanstuurt zijn faciliterend aan andere afdelingen, zoals blending en filling. Communicatie is daarom erg belangrijk. Als (Junior) Operational Manager ben je een spin in het web en stuur je de afdeling naar hoger niveau. Wij zorgen er ook voor dat je de juiste begeleiding krijgt van senior management zodat je succesvol kan zijn in deze rol.


Verantwoordelijkheden

Je bent gedreven om de productie doelstellingen te realiseren met je team, maar doet nooit concessies aan de kwaliteit van het product. Mocht er een afwijking optreden dan ben jij degene die het opmerkt en het naar voren brengt. En als people manager weet je hand in hand met deze doelstellingen de mensen te ontwikkelen op de afdeling.


De volgende taken maken onderdeel uit van de functie:

  • Aansturing en ondersteuning van operators en bijbehorende people managementactiviteiten;
  • Afstemming met planners en collega managers wat betreft alle activiteiten die de productieplanning beïnvloeden;
  • Realiseren van de afgesproken leverdata van klantorders tegen zo laag mogelijke kosten met een continu focus op een volledige en tijdige levering;
  • Onderhouden en continu verbeteren van de huidige processen qua techniek, kwaliteit en veiligheid in samenwerking met ondersteunende disciplines binnen en buiten de afdeling. Hiermee streven naar een right-first-time Operations zonder ongevallen;
  • In samenwerking met collega’s waarborgen en handhaven van eenduidige kwaliteitsprocedures;
  • Monitoren en initiëren van data-administratie en sturen van verbeteringen op basis van de data-afgeleide performance indicatoren.


Wij vragen

  • Minimaal afgeronde HBO opleiding, bij voorkeur in een Technische, Farmaceutische of Bedrijfskundige richting;
  • Enkele jaren leidinggevende werkervaring, mag ook in een andere industrie;
  • Bij voorkeur ervaring met good manufacturing practice (GMP), problem solving en het leiden van verbeterprojecten met aantoonbaar resultaat;
  • Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels;
  • Je bent in staat om nieuwe tools en methodieken te leren, toe te passen in de praktijk en aan anderen te leren;
  • Je hebt een sterk zelf-reflecterend vermogen en zet dit om in persoonlijke verbeteracties.
  • In staat om sturing en richting te geven aan een groep medewerkers en ze te coachen naar toenemende zelfstandigheid;
  • In staat om prioriteiten te stellen en ook onder tijdsdruk een juiste afweging te kunnen maken;
  • Mondeling en schriftelijk communicatief vaardig, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels;
  • Voorkeur gaat uit naar een kandidaat die full-time beschikbaar is.
