The finance team are part of that support function and they are currently looking for a Finance Governance & Risk Control Supervisor.


The role:

As Governance, Risk & Controlling (GRC) Supervisor you will work in an international and dynamic environment. The Supervisor GRC will report to the Group controller and will manage a team of several finance professionals.


Within Aramco Europe you will be the sparring partner for internal and external stakeholders, in this position you will be responsible for internal control (including ICFR and SOX), governance, policies & procedures and managing and developing the team. You will take the lead in the day-to-day activities, solving issues, implementing procedures and controls and process improvements.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise the daily activities of the Governance Risk & Controls (GRC) team.
  • Plan and schedule the GRC work to maintain a timely and orderly flow of activities
  • Developing and maintaining policies, frameworks, and procedures that align with corporate governance standards.
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization to safeguard its operations and assets.
  • Designing, implementing, and monitoring internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure operational efficiency
  • Ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and industry standards through audits, reviews, and training programs
  • Preparing reports for senior management, board and other stakeholders on risk assessments, control effectiveness, and compliance status
  • Working with cross-functional teams to address control gaps, improve processes, and enhance organizational resilience
  • Review detailed procedures and policies and revising office manuals and management guides
  • Assist with coordination of and provide support to internal audits and ensure adequate and timely follow-up


Requirements:


  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Economics or related field, combined with a Post Master education (RA, CPA OR ACCA);
  • At least 10 years of experience in a relevant international corporate finance environment in positions with progressively more responsibilities including supervisory accountabilities;
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbally;
  • Strong stakeholder focus and quality orientation;
  • Natural ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment;
  • Demonstrated networking and people development skills;
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
