Senior Business Development Manager – Renewable Energy


We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with a strong background in the renewable energy sector (solar, energy storage, etc.) to drive business growth through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Partnership Development: Identify and engage potential partners within the renewable energy sector to drive collaborations.
  • Opportunity Identification: Lead efforts to identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Proposal & Negotiation: Prepare business proposals, and presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to align initiatives and goals.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, stay updated on market conditions, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of business development experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.


Location: The Hague, Netherlands / Düsseldorf, Germany.
