About the COMPANY:
Aloxe is a fast-growing recycled plastic (rPET) producer in Europe. They are supported by Ara Partners, a global private equity firm focused on investments that decarbonize the industrial sector. Aloxe has a growth strategy within the European rPET sector, and the ambition to become a major consolidated producer of rPET.
Aloxe’s head office is in Amsterdam, and its operational management is in Paris. Production sites are located in three different countries : France, Italy and Poland.

About the Role:
As an Accounting and Administrative Associate at our rapidly growing company, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance operations while also assisting with key administrative tasks. In this dynamic position, you will primarily focus on financial responsibilities, including bookkeeping, monthly financial reporting, VAT return preparation, and liaising with Dutch tax authorities. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks will be essential as you help keep our financial processes accurate and efficient. While the majority of your time (around 80%) will be dedicated to finance-related activities, you will also contribute to the smooth operation of the office, assisting with administrative duties such as office management and event coordination (up to 20% of your time). Main tasks and responsibilities:
· Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records two corporate entities, process transactions, and prepare monthly financial reports for management.
· Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance team and senior management, including assisting with document preparation, data entry, and file management.
· Experience with preparing VAT Returns is a plus: Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns on a quarterly basis
· Liaison with Tax Authorities: Act as a point of contact for the Dutch tax authorities, managing communication, providing necessary documentation, and addressing any queries.
· Office Management: Oversee daily office operations, including managing meeting room bookings, handling incoming mail, and maintaining a well-organized office environment.
· Event Planning and Coordination: Help plan and organize corporate events in Amsterdam, including the companies participation in an annual trade shows, visits by the board of directors, and team meetings by ensuring smooth logistics and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
.Skills and competencies :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in bookkeeping, or a related role
- Understanding of VAT regulations in the Netherlands, with the ability to prepare VAT returns and liaise with tax authorities is a plus
- Fluency in Dutch and English;
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (MS Dynamics or similar), and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as v-lookups, pivot tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in financial record-keeping and report preparation.
- Comfortable working in a rapidly growing, scale-up company, and able to quickly adapt to changing needs and responsibilities.
