Job Description

Vanuit onze locatie in Haarlem distribueren we 2.500 verschillende verpakkingen van geneesmiddelen en vaccins naar meer dan 140 landen. De site bestaat uit meerdere Integrated Process Teams (IPT's) en Centers of Excellence (COE's). De Pharmaceutical Specialisten zijn werkzaam binnen de afdeling (IPT) Vaccines.

Voor onze locatie in Haarlem zijn we op zoek naar een: Junior Pharmaceutical Specialist.

Het team

De afdeling Vaccines is verantwoordelijk voor het verpakken van cold chain producten met geautomatiseerde verpakkingslijnen. Een groot deel van dit verpakkingsvolume wordt gedreven door tenders, wat om de nodige flexibiliteit en creativiteit vraagt. De focus van onze afdeling is onder andere gericht op het optimaliseren van de volume output, het minimaliseren van down-time en kosten en het leveren van het product in de juiste kwaliteit. Dit in samenspel met een wisselende vraag en bulk beschikbaarheid en het optimaal inzetten van Lean-principes.

Het huidige team bestaat uit 2 Senior Pharmaceutical Specialisten, 1 Junior Pharmaceutical Specialist en 3 Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Support Officers.

De functie

De Junior Pharmaceutical Specialist is een kritische functie waarbij je binnen de afdeling het 'Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) geweten' bent. Je bent medeverantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit van het proces van het verpakken. Samen met je collega's voer je de GMP-strategie voor de afdeling uit en controleer je of het productieproces aan alle wet- en regelgeving voldoet. Je houdt je bezig met klachtafhandeling, deviatiemanagement, change control, documentatie, het opstellen van documenten en het voorbereiden van jaarlijkse reviews. Tevens geef je ondersteuning bij in- en externe audits. Daarbij bepaal je met je collega's' de impact van afwijkingen in het productieproces en overleg je hierover met de Manager Operations en de Quality afdeling. Je bent medeverantwoordelijk voor het initiëren en uitvoeren van kwaliteitsverbeteringen in het IPT.

Taken

  • Het adviseren over het effect van veranderingen en/of afwijkingen in het verpakkingsproces op de kwaliteit van het eindproduct.
  • Het evalueren van de consequenties van externe guidelines als ook het initiëren en ontwikkelen van farmaceutisch beleid en procedures.
  • Het goedkeuren van afwijkingen op procedures en beleidslijnen en het autoriseren van GMPdocumentatie. Tevens adviseer je ten aanzien van GMP-inspecties.
  • Samen met je teamleden bijdragen aan onderzoek in geval van non-standaard, complexe of hoge-impact kwaliteitsissues gebaseerd op trendanalyses.
  • Adviseren van de productieafdeling bij correctieve en preventieve maatregelen (CAPA's) naar aanleiding van geconstateerde afwijkingen.
  • Het bijdragen aan de kwaliteit van het IPT in brede zin door het initiëren en monitoren van kwaliteitsverbeteringen en het stellen van de juiste prioriteiten.
  • Het monitoren en waarborgen van de administratie en implementatie van datareview en analyses.
  • Mede bepalen van de strategie met betrekking tot validatie, protocollen en helpen uitvoeren hiervan.

Jouw profiel

  • Een afgeronde HBO (BSc) of WO (MSc) opleiding in een relevant studiegebied.
  • Werkervaring is niet vereist en starters met aansluitende stage-ervaring worden uitgenodigd om te solliciteren. Enige ervaring binnen Quality of Packaging is een pre.
  • Je bent proactief, zelfstandig, besluitvaardig, kritisch en nauwkeurig.
  • Je bent flexibel en ziet een uitdaging in het werken in een productieomgeving waar er sprake is van een ad-hoc agendawijziging;
  • Je beschikt over uitstekende communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden in de Nederlandse en
  • Engelse taal in woord en schrift.
