OPERATIONS DIRECTOR (FULL-TIME) De uitdaging:Als Operations Director bij DFDS in Nijmegen maak jij het verschil. Je krijgt een sleutelpositie binnen de organisatie waarin je leiding geeft aan het operationele management en samen met het directieteam de strategische koers bepaalt. Jouw missie? Logistieke processen optimaliseren, klantverwachtingen overtreffen en de operationele efficiency naar het volgende niveau brengen. Bij DFDS Logistics krijg je de kans om deze nieuwe functie vorm te geven. Dit betekent niet alleen dat je werkt aan operationele vraagstukken, maar ook dat jij zelf richting geeft aan deze rol. Je zorgt ervoor dat de logistieke strategie perfect aansluit bij de bedrijfsdoelen: efficiëntie, kostenbeheersing en maximale klanttevredenheid. Je analyseert operationele processen en voert verbeteringen door om tijd en kosten te besparen zonder concessies te doen aan kwaliteit. Je coacht en begeleidt leidinggevenden om het beste uit hun teams te halen en optimale prestaties neer te zetten. Je bewaakt en beheert het operationele budget en monitort KPI’s om resultaten inzichtelijk te maken. Je vormt een onmisbare schakel in het directieteam en werkt nauw samen met alle afdelingen om processen te stroomlijnen.

Minimaal een afgeronde HBO- of WO-opleiding en ervaring in een internationale logistieke omgeving. Een bewezen trackrecord in procesoptimalisatie, teamontwikkeling en verandertrajecten. Lef, natuurlijk overwicht en het vermogen om doordachte beslissingen te nemen én uit te voeren. Natuurlijk leiderschap. Een empathische en samenbindende aanpak met een kritisch vermogen om scherp te blijven. Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Probleemoplossend vermogen, pro activiteit en zelfstandigheid. Ondernemer. Je woont binnen een uur reisafstand van Nijmegen.
