Account Executive (German-speaker) - Tech Marketplace - Intangible Assets

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding marketplace specializing in the trade of unique digital assets crucial for internet and cloud services. As the pioneer and leading platform in their niche, they facilitate the buying, selling, and leasing of these essential resources to businesses around the globe, with a primary focus on the US and Europe.


They are searching for a motivated Account Executive to join their growing team. Reporting into the US-based VP of Sales, this role will be a first-on-the ground opportunity targeting the Northern European market, particularly Germany and Netherlands. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to develop their sales careers. You will play a pivotal part in handling an increasing volume of transactions and collaborating with our sales team to expand our client base.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new supply channels for our digital assets (training provided).
  • Partner with our inside sales team to discover and pursue potential customers.
  • Utilise a consultative sales approach to close deals and generate new business.
  • Engage directly with senior executives from leading global companies.
  • Leverage tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn to manage leads and drive sales.
  • Conduct research, follow up on emails, initiate outreach, and lead meetings.
  • Attend industry conferences to network, generate leads, and stay informed on market trends.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven success in selling to executive-level clients in the Technology sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to close high-value deals.
  • Process-oriented with a methodical approach to sales.
  • Expertise in consultative selling and exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
  • Familiarity with market dynamics and extended sales cycles (six-figure deal sizes, 6-9 month sales cycles).
  • Being able to conduct business in German is a must have for this opportunity.
