Our business division, the Business Agency, is focused on helping international companies and NGOs to strategically expand their operations to The Hague region. We assist them by offering tailor-made programmes and services to ensure that these pioneering businesses and NGOs have a soft landing in The Hague and surrounding areas.
For this division we are seeking to recruit an International Business Advisor specializing in New Energy (fulltime).
The Hague boasts an impressive track record in the energy sector, dating back to the establishment of the Royal Dutch Petroleum Company in 1907. Over the years, The Hague has evolved into a global hub for planning, executing, and coordinating energy projects. The International Business Advisor for New Energy will be responsible for acquisition activities related to the recruitment and retention of foreign companies in the New energy sector within the The Hague region
Collaborate closely with international business advisors responsible for other sectors and countries, as well as with marketing communication staff, sales support and convention bureau colleagues
Report to the Team Manager of the Business Agency, taking into account the requirements and wishes of the City of The Hague and other partners and stakeholders
Actively maintain and expand strategic relationships with companies, startups, and scale-ups
Keeping a good relationship with partnering parties, including consulates and embassies abroad, as well as various institutions and network organizations, such as the partners affiliated with Invest in Holland, Innovation Quarter, Rotterdam Partners and the Economic Department of The City of The Hague
Commercial Ability: Proven capability in identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities, understanding market dynamics, and driving sales and marketing efforts
Results-Oriented: Focused on achieving goals and delivering high-quality results, with a strong sense of accountability and efficiency in completing tasks
