The essence of your job
This role touches every domain of building and leading a digital B2B business in the EMEA region.
As the Head of Sales Development at Korsit, you are responsible for leading the commercial transformation in our business. In recent years we have grown our B2B revenues by 400%, driven by our technology and early adoption of prepaid branded cards. The next wave of growth should come from bringing commerce to the heart of everything we do. You build the way forward, adapting systems, processes, and skills to the scale-up phase the B2B business is in, while managing and driving sales together.

You inspire and lead your own team of 2 sales people and 1 marketeer located in Eindhoven, and ensure an efficient and effective commercial organization. You also align with Procurement, Marketing, Finance, and Technology. You are a member of the Management Team and report directly to the CEO.

A selection of your daily activities
Your job includes a wide range of responsibilities related to driving B2B sales as well as developing the business into new activities.

Your responsibilities are

  • Strategy and Planning: As part of the MT you help build the strategy for the company. Based on this strategy, you develop and implement a cohesive B2B strategy. Identify opportunities and improvements to our B2B proposition.

  • Securing Business Deals: Actively engage and close deals with B2B clients interested in bulk purchasing of electronic payment-, gaming- and gift- cards.

  • Prospect Engagement : Work with B2B marketing to identify, acquire, and nurture new prospective clients.

  • Financial Transactions : Manage customer payment top-ups to their accounts.

  • Product Management: Collaborate with the Procurement team to expand our catalog based on client feedback and demand.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide directly 2 sales people and a B2B marketeer.

  • Market Research: Continually seek out new product opportunities and stay abreast of market trends.

  • People & Stakeholder management: Support, grow and develop the team, and recruit new talent. Strong stakeholder management to other departments. Set clear governance on decision-making.

What you bring to the table
You bring a combination of leadership skills, business perception, technical expertise, and an innovative mindset. Next to that, you have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead the organization through growth and expansion.

You have

  • 7+ years in B2B Sales and Business development, with a proven commercial track record

  • A passion for negotiating and closing deals

  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with digital CRM platforms, such as Salesforce or Hubspot.

  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.

  • Proactive, a critical thinker, and an excellent communicator.

  • Full-time availability (40 hours/week) for Korsit.

  • Able to work from our Eindhoven office for at least 4 days per week.

  • Industry experience is a plus

  • Existing network is a plus

  • University degree is a plus
