We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead our vibrant bar team and elevate our guest experience. Within Bar The Tailor, everything is ‘Tailor’ made. As bar manager, you will work together with the team to create innovative drink menu while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. In doing so, you will achieve that all colleagues have the right tools to create ‘Authentic Luxury’ moments for our guest and elevate our guest experience.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service;
  • Develop and implement innovative beverage programs, including signature cocktails;
  • Handle guest feedback and concerns with tact and efficiency, striving for swift resolution and ensuring guest satisfaction;
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of bartenders;
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency;
  • Maintain good relationship with the chefs of Anantara Krasnapolsky and on a regular basis evaluate how to improve the food offering;
  • Responsible for profit and revenue of the bar and achieving yearly budget
  • Assuring training and development of (new) team members based on LQA service- & emotional intelligence standards
  • Monitoring and managing hygiene, safety and grooming standards
  • Cooperative in managing events within Bar The Tailor as well as in hotel culinary events
  • Making sure to maintain and support the image of the bar within the (international) hospitality industry
  • Supports & manages bartender competitions within the bar team by following hotel guidelines
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations;
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings;
  • Advising guests based on their preference/taste;
  • Provide exceptional guest service, and addressing any concerns or feedback;
  • Supervising the preparation & quality of the drinks and serving them;
