Our bold mission is to enhance transparency and sustainability within the EV battery supply chain, ensuring full compliance with critical industry regulations such as the EU Battery Regulation and the IRA. Founded in 2021 by industry pioneers CMOC, ERG, and Glencore, and now proudly supported by Responsible Minerals Initiative, and the Cobalt Institute, ReSource was built with invaluable insights from experts in responsible sourcing and supply chain management. Role Overview

As the Head of Product at ReSource, you will be the mastermind behind our product vision and strategy. You will see through every stage of the product lifecycle — from initial concept to tactical execution — ensuring our platform not only meets market realities and regulatory demands but also delivers transformative value to our customers. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader eager to shape the future of battery traceability and compliance in a dynamic, forward-thinking startup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a bold, forward-thinking product strategy and roadmap that aligns with emerging market trends, evolving regulatory requirements, and the specific needs of the EV and battery sectors at ReSource.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing distributed product team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement that reflects ReSource's values.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with distributed teams across engineering, design, sustainability, and business development to transform market insights into scalable, secure, and groundbreaking product solutions tailored for the battery industry.
  • Oversee the complete product lifecycle — from ideation and feature prioritisation to launch and performance analysis — ensuring clear, consistent communication with all ReSource stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to continuously refine our product positioning, capitalising on emerging trends in battery technology and compliance.
  • Leverage hands-on experience in early-stage sales by gathering client feedback, actively participating in sales meetings, conducting demos, and showcasing prototypes to drive product improvements and market fit.
  • Act as the ultimate ReSource product evangelist; represent our company at industry events, client engagements, and strategic partnership meetings while passionately advocating for our visionary product capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of leadership within technology-driven industries — ideally automotive, EV, energy storage or regulatory compliance sectors.
  • Demonstrable success in launching products from concept to market (0 to 1), skillfully navigating early-stage development and achieving product-market fit.
  • Hands-on experience in early-stage sales – gathering client feedback, actively participating in sales meetings, conducting demos and showcasing prototypes.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, agile startup environment within the B2B SaaS space.
  • Expertise in team management, with an ability to inspire cross-functional teams and drive excellence.
  • A strong understanding of battery technologies, EV market dynamics, and industry-specific regulatory landscapes is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills, adeptness in leveraging data and qualitative insights to shape strategic decisions and product adjustments.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to galvanise teams and build consensus across diverse groups.
  • English C1+ / C2 level, knowledge of Chinese, Korean is a plus.
