Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative role at Relay42 is a dynamic position, blending traditional business development responsibilities with the opportunity to step into solution sales. This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals looking to transition from business development into full-cycle sales, as you'll play a pivotal role in both generating new opportunities and closing deals.
Generate and develop new sales opportunities through outbound strategies, including cold emails, cold calls, events, content generation and inbound lead follow-ups.
Proactively engage prospects to educate them on Relay42's solutions, qualify their needs, and nurture them through the buying journey.
Sales Process Support
Coordinate next steps in the sales cycle, such as scheduling demos, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
Shadow experienced sales team members to learn and eventually lead full sales cycles for select deals.
Assist Account Executives with deal progression while starting to manage and close smaller deals independently.
Deliver relative use-case and business value with a high degree of credibility to engage prospects in the sales cycle.
Partner closely with marketing to execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies and improve inbound lead handling.
Collaborate with sales leadership for ongoing deal coaching and professional development.
Regularly contribute to the refinement of sales processes, outreach strategies, and tools.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong understanding of outbound sales tactics, lead qualification, and account management. You'll work closely with our seasoned sales and solutions team to provide exceptional experiences for prospects and customers, while also owning and contributing to new business sales targets. This is an opportunity to grow your sales acumen within a supportive, coaching-driven environment while working on sophisticated, mid-market and enterprise-level sales deals.
Fluent in Dutch and English
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Business Development Representative or similar inside sales role, preferably within MarTech or B2B SaaS.
Proven ability to execute outbound sales tactics, including email and phone outreach, with measurable success.
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce, and tools for mass outbound cadences/sequences.
Knowledge and application of sales methodologies like MEDDICC.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrable experience writing compelling outbound sales copy.
