Over de functie

For an ambitious company, we are looking for an Inside sales representative for the USA market. You will be working in the sales team, consisting of five colleagues. You support them by handling customer cases. You already know the administrative side of sales, you understand how the invoicing and accounts receivable administration works, because some customers pay before a procedure is started. In addition, you will work for both b2c and b2b customers.

Your duties as Inside sales representative:

- You will supervise the onboarding and monitoring of our dropshipping customers.
- You act as point of contact for the agent in the US, via email chat or phone.
- The order processing is now still largely manual; you maintain an overview of the processes and ensure correct processing of orders from the warehouses in the US and the Netherlands.
- You support specific requests, such as arranging export quotations and documentation for overseas shipments.
- Resolving complaints is also part of your responsibilities.

Currently the company has 30 employees, and is located with the office and store in the middle of Amsterdam. The studio's designs include accessories, furniture, lighting and tableware. The iconic eye-catchers are sold worldwide in more than 65 countries at leading concept stores, platforms and department stores such as de Bijenkorf, Selfridges, Farfetch.

Wat is jouw achtergrond en ervaring?

You are naturally enthusiastic, communicatively strong and eager to learn. In addition, you can easily switch between different activities and are not afraid of chaos. For example, if there are complaints or problems, you see this as an opportunity for improvement Furthermore, they require some flexibility due to the time difference, which means that you do not mind starting later in the morning and working longer in the evening to fit in better with the working hours in the US. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following points:

- You speak and write fluent Dutch and English (both spoken and written).
- You have completed a mbo education and gained initial work experience within a manufacturing company, giving you insight into goods flows.
- You have sufficient work experience within customer service.
