Position

As an Assistant Group Controller, you will contribute to the development and implementation of group-level policies and financial process improvements, enhance our risk and control framework. You will work with regional finance teams to align group-wide processes, oversee master data management, and support financial closing processes for assigned entities. This position demands a proactive, analytical thinker with strong project management skills and a keen eye for optimizing financial and administrative processes on an international scale.

Key responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leverage Power BI for data analysis and reporting enhancements within the data warehouse.
  • Initiate and contribute to the development of group policies, procedures, and financial manuals.
  • Lead financial process improvement projects to increase efficiency and ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Support the enhancement of the risk and control framework, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Manage and maintain master data to ensure accuracy and consistency across global systems.
  • Administer user access for group-wide financial applications, provide support, and contribute to system improvements.
  • Oversee parts of the financial administration and monthly/annual closing activities for assigned entities.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across regions to standardize processes and reporting requirements.
  • Support investment project analysis, manage expense claims, and assist with various financial projects during peak periods.

Your qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an international or group-level role.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI or similar data tools; familiarity with Twinfield is a plus.

Excellent command of spoken and written English, with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently, handle complex data tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Our selection process

The recruitment process will include two face-to-face interviews, possibly back-to-back. Your terms of employment and benefits package will be discussed at a subsequent meeting. We aim to finalize the entire process within 4 weeks.
