The position we offer is to become Team Manager for Interior Wall Paints in our R&D Center of Excellence located in Amsterdam. This is a challenging position as you will feed the innovation pipeline of the strongest market of PPG in Architectural Coatings for EMEA.

**Responsibilities**
- Take part of the innovation roadmap decision in Europe
- Support the laboratory's projects through to market launch
- Responsible for forging special partnerships with suppliers and universities to bring new technology to PPG
- Interact with marketing team, supply chain and plants to ensure the development of projects to ensure that projects run smoothly
- Manage a pool of expert technicians dedicated for innovation
- Maintain a strong collaboration with the portfolio development teams
- Share know how not only in Europe, but also to the rest of the world
- Monitor competitor patents

**Qualifications**:

- BSC or Master degree
- At least 5 years experience supervising R&D activities in the paint industry or adjacency industries
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience on team management
- Able to work optimally with all levels of sales, marketing and production
- Ability to effectively prioritize and balance multiple activities
- Fluent English written and spoken
