Big Sync Music a Songtradr company is one of the world’s leading music agencies with offices in London, Los Angeles, New York, Sydney, Paris and Singapore.Big Sync works with brands and their creative agencies to identify, create and license music for use in advertising and other brand communications. Big Sync is also the exclusive global music licensing partner to Unilever across their 400+ brands around the world.
**Description**
We are seeking an Account Director to ensure our existing clients receive exceptional service from the Big Sync Music team whilst proactively pursuing the company’s sales strategy and organic account growth. Account Director working in the Client Services team
from Unilever and other existing clients to enhance and strengthen the Big Sync relationship, to identify new opportunities to work with the existing and new client base and to be proactive in taking music partnerships and strategies to the brand teams.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide strategic guidance and insight to the team to ensure that brand and business objectives are met
- Maintain overall responsibility of music partnerships performance and ultimate client accountability
- Responsible for all elements of partnerships execution, budget planning and client success
- Lead the strategic development, in close partnership with the Head Of APAC and Creative Director and the internal account team, on the delivery and implementation of all contracted assets (Big Sync SOW and client talent contracts)
- Guide and lead KPI creation, brand planning proposals, deliverable and growth targets for client relationships
- Investigate, analyze and develop solutions to client problems
- Work with peers to identify, develop, deploy and evaluate music strategies for the benefit of the client taking into consideration objectives, market forces, cost and profitability factors
- Act as a trusted advisor to the client throughout their relationships
- Work to retain and develop client account within the Big Sync and Songtradr client base
- Understand the profitability and incremental financial performance of the accounts and use this information to track against its objectives
- Work alongside peers, account teams and superiors to develop further strategies and activation ideas to drive more work for Big Sync client base, resulting in growth and increased financial success
- Foster an environment of open communication, collaboration and teamwork
- Collaborate across the leadership of other business units within the Songtradr Group to continue to deliver best in class client servicing, Account Management processes and training & development opportunities
- This role is based out of our Amsterdam office with frequent travel to London and other European hubs
Required Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of music licensing and synchronization
- Account Management experience in Music or Advertising
- Superior negotiating skills
- Excellent time, planning and project management skills
- Be able to flawlessly present and communicate in both written and verbal forms
- Be resilient, detailed and creative
- Be able to successfully work on own initiative
- Be able to handle demands, targets, guidelines, and high stress situations
- Have excellent networking and business acquisition skills
