Job Description
This is a remote position.
Our Client designs and operates cutting-edge digital payment, transactional, and transport solutions that foster sustainable economic growth while enhancing trust and security in our communities. We are currently seeking a skilled Account Director to join the UK Transport Market team, with a primary focus on identifying, defining, pursuing, and retaining or winning business, particularly in the Rail environment. The Account Director will possess an understanding of how UK Rail integrates into multi-modal transport solutions and will work to develop client value, ultimately enhancing the end user customer experience.Our ideal Account Director will have a comprehensive understanding of the UK Rail sector, encompassing stakeholders, retailing, and operational aspects. Proficiency in the sales process, including lead generation, relationship building, and deal closure, is crucial. We are in search of a self-motivated individual with strong negotiating skills and a proven track record of success, capable of inspiring the same in team members.

Requirements
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
·You develop and maintain thorough company and product and service knowledge
·You research consumer/passenger needs, identifying how our solutions can address current and future business challenges within UK Rail
·You generate sales leads and grow senior relationships
·You maintain an accurate set of detailed account plans whilst developing an active customer base
·You make cold calls where applicable or perform warm outreach to generate fresh business revenue opportunities.
·You work with the account team, product and projects teams to design industry-specific ‘disruptive offers’
·You utilize our sales tools to ensure standard processes during all sales stages – e.g. Salesforce.
·You conduct month-end and year-end close processes working closely with the Client Management and finance teams.
