Business Manager - E2E
**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will lead the team of Segment Managers and Product Specialists within the newly established WEMEA sales organization under Measurement & Analytics. This position offers a rare opportunity to directly influence our regional and global growth strategies, particularly in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Water/Wastewater, New Energy, and EPC sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring that segment and product line strategies are aligned with the broader business line objectives, helping to achieve defined targets. You will also coordinate and implement these strategies across regions. A key aspect of your role will be identifying new growth opportunities and developing business development initiatives to capture them. You'll oversee pricing management in collaboration with local sales units to ensure competitive positioning in specific segments. In addition, you will lead efforts to attract and secure new customers, managing key accounts within dedicated segments and ensuring long-term business relationships. Close collaboration with the Marketing Communications team will be essential to enhance ABB’s market positioning. Your leadership will also extend to managing and motivating a team of segment managers and product experts, ensuring they understand and are aligned with functional and departmental goals. Moreover, you'll continuously seek out improvements and innovations to drive efficiency and growth.
**Qualifications for the role**:
- To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and bring proven leadership experience from large organizations, preferably with expertise in change management processes. You are a team player who learns quickly and stays on top of industry trends, and you possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- The ability to influence others and work effectively with teams spread across various countries and technologies is crucial. Being multilingual will also be an asset.
