**About your role**:
You will be end-responsible for defining and executing Fairphone’s global commercial strategy and revenue generation, in line with the overall company’s goals.. As part of Fairphone’s Management Team, you take ownership of the customer and the customer interface with the product or service offering, making sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial goals. You will report directly to our CEO.

This broad role encompasses the areas of sales, brand and marketing in all markets where Fairphone operates:
- Sales: you oversee the development of our long-range sales strategy and forecast sales volumes for the entire organization. You guide the sales team being responsible for direct sales in our webshop, indirect sales with our sales partners, B2B and product & channel marketing.
- Brand & Marketing: you develop, implement and execute strategic marketing plans for the entire organization in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. This includes also our brand strategy development and building brand awareness and preference.**Your profile**:

- You (are willing to) live in the Netherlands.**Your responsibilities**:
- Guide and implement commercial strategies aligned with Fairphone's company goals, with the aim of accelerating growth and impact
- Responsible for the overall company strategy and management as part of the Management Team
- Oversee all aspects of the commercial organization, including sales, marketing, business development, market access, and pricing strategies, ensuring they are in line with our company strategy.
- Manage and develop the commercial team for delivery on goal-oriented targets by a combination of inspiring them, building their ability and holding them accountable for top performance.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to ensure their collaboration with Fairphone.
- Communicate Fairphones story and value proposition in a compelling way in proposals, presentations and interactions to engage our stakeholders with our brand
- Understand category-specific landscapes, trends and the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making and maintain Fairphone's competitive edge.
- Contribute to setting financial targets and budget development. Monitoring the performance of commercial activities to ensure data-driven decision-making and a result-driven approach.

- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in sales, brand management, and marketing, in the consumer electronics industry..
- A proven track record of growing revenues and market share expansion in an international setting.
- Strong commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset.
- Experience in managing relationships with key clients.
- Understanding of digital development in all its forms (design, UX, content, UI development, engineering and quality assurance).
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budget
