**Your team**

CC BFS (Cognizant Consulting - Banking & Financial Services) is the consulting part of one of the largest vertical industry sectors within Cognizant. They work with tier 1 banking and insurance organizations globally and in the Benelux. **Your role**

As a Business Analyst at the BFS consulting team, your focus will be at the interplay between business and technology, having and building a sound understanding of the business drivers and the capabilities of various technologies and domain (Payment, Billing, lending, Credit Risk, Mortgage,...,etc.).

As a Business Analyst, it is responsibility to determine the impact of business wishes (from small to big epics) and helps the teams to solve the impediments..
- Working together with product management including IT team bears the responsibility to make customer and Team in balance.
- Identify business needs, determine solutions to business problems, and create a better understanding of the steps to successfully execute change.
- Analyse services, business processes, information flows, user and system requirements, in order to identify opportunities.
- Translate product roadmap features into concrete user stories by identifying and prioritizing technical and functional requirements.
- Working together with IT team to ensure solutions are designed in line with IT architecture
- Create clear requirement documents, including functional specifications, use cases and process flows, to guide the development team and ensure accurate implementation
- An all-rounder who can participate in initiatives that are cross-squad, e.g. improving way of working or enable product management to make better decisions by building dashboards, etc.
- Recommending opposed to first building everything and then testing so you get short feedback cycles and iterations.

**Skills and expertise**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or related field.
- Strong Knowledge & experience as a BA in the banking domain, financial products, and business processes.
- Experience working with Agile / Scrum / DevOps way of working.
- Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus) and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, excellent problem-solving, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- System delivery and IT operations (self-organizing team)| Nice to have
